CHENNAI: Private sector Karur Vysya Bank registered a marginal increase in its third quarter net profits to Rs 113.88 crore, up 6.6 per cent.
The Tamil Nadu-based bank registered Rs 106.82 crore net profit during the same period of previous fiscal, Karur Vysya Bank said in a statement.
For the nine month period ending December 31, 2014 the net profit of the bank increased by 5.3 per cent to Rs 326.45 crore from Rs 310.01 crore in April-December period of last fiscal.
Total income for the Oct-December 2014 quarter rose to Rs 1,511.80 crore from Rs 1,403.61 crore registered during the same period of previous year.
For the April-December 2014 period, the total income stood at Rs 4469.10 crore as against Rs 4211.96 crore during the corresponding period of last fiscal.
Shares of the bank were trading at Rs 601.50 apiece down 0.97 per cent over previous close in afternoon BSE.
