CHENNAI:The smartphone market is exploding with almost everyday there are new phone launches in the Indian market, capturing the minds of consumers. Though it gives you choice it also confuses you what model to choose from.

StratDecider Analytics, one of the five winners of Amrita TBI Pitchfest 2015, has launched a portal — — for the people who are finding it difficult to select their ideal phone. “Till now people asked their colleagues, read reviews and took eternity of time to decide which mobile to buy. Bazaarfunda has simplified this process as they collect all the online reviews of a product and use their in-house text  analytics tool to give an unbiased review analysis of the product.”

The company, founded by IIT Kharagpur alumni, Krishna Chandra Dey and Abhishek Chatterjee, is currently in the process of comparing mobile reviews, prices and provide personalised recommendation based on  consumer preferences.

“Previously if someone had to buy a mobile phone in a price range there were lots of phones with similar features. Around 50-60 models are there within a budget of Rs 20,000. Now, we have  tried to resolve the confusion,” the company said.

StratDecider Analytics is incubated and funded by Amrita TBI,which is one of the top 5 active investor groups in India.
