Heritage Foods eyes Rs 6,000 crore revenue by 2022

Dairy products company Heritage Foods Limited (HFL), owned by the family of Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu, said on Monday that it would achieve Rs 6,000 crore revenue by 2022.

HYDERABAD: Dairy products company Heritage Foods Limited (HFL), owned by the family of Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu, said on Monday that it would achieve Rs 6,000 crore revenue by 2022.

While HFL has presence in 15 states, south India is its core market. Nara Brahmani, executive director of Heritage Foods, said the company now plans to expand its market.
“We procure milk from 3.5 lakh dairy farmers daily and serve 15 lakh consumers. Besides being in the south, we are already making our presence felt in Pune and Mumbai. Now we are focusing on Delhi-NCR market. Recently, we acquired the dairy business of Reliance Retail, which will help increase our presence in both new and existing markets,” said Brahmani, while launching a re-branding campaign in Hyderabad on Monday. She said the company would enter into a joint venture with a European dairy, which will be finalised in a month. It will set up five milk processing units across the country with an investment outlay of Rs 150 crore.
“We would focus on value-added products like curd, butter milk, ice-creams to achieve revenue growth by increasing the share of these products from the current 24 per cent to 40 per cent,” she added.
