NEW DELHI: Commerce minister Suresh Prabhu on Friday said that India’s economy is likely to grow at 8 per cent over the two years on the back of an improved investment climate and several reforms that are in the pipeline.

On improving farmers’ earnings, Prabhu said that the government is coming up with an Agriculture Export Policy to ensure that the surplus production gets export.

Prabhu also stated that he would meet his US counterpart soon and raise India’s concerns about the tightening visa regime and its impact on the Indian IT sector.
