AstraZeneca Pharma jumps as board to consider delisting proposal

AstraZeneca Pharma India, an integrated biopharmaceutical company, jumped on Friday after the voluntary delisting proposal from AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals AB, Sweden (AZP AB) will be considered at the meeting of the board of directors which will held on Mar. 15, 2014. Shares ofthe companyare trading at Rs 1,154, up Rs 88.15, or 8.27% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday at 12:52 p.m.The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 1,169.80 and low of Rs 1,124.90. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 41,455.In the earlier session, the shares lost 2.06%, or Rs 22.45, at Rs 1,065.85. Currently, the stock is trading down 10.19% from its 52-week high of Rs 1,285 and above 93.95% over the 52-week low of Rs 595.
