SPML Infra jumps 10% on new orders

SPML Infra, the infrastructure development company, jumped on Monday after it bagged two new orders worth Rs 7.21 billion from Bhavnagar Irrigation Project Division, Gujarat and from South Bihar Power Distribution Company, Patna.

The company bagged first order Rs 5.94 billion from Bhavnagar Irrigation Project Division, Gujarat for water supply infrastructure development. While, Rs 1.27 billion order from South Bihar Power Distribution Company for strengthening, improvement and augmentation of electricity distribution system in 11 towns in Bihar. Shares ofthe companyare trading at Rs 34.80, up Rs 3.15, or 9.95% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday at 12:43 p.m.The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 34.80 and low of Rs 30.55. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 1,099.In the earlier session, the shares rose 6.75%, or Rs 2, at Rs 31.65. Currently, the stock is trading down 34.15% from its 52-week high of Rs 52.85 and above 58.18% over the 52-week low of Rs 22.
