Sesa Sterlite shares plunge on weak iron ore prices

Sesa Sterlite, one of the largest producers and exporters of iron ore in India,plunged on Tuesday after iron ore prices posted their biggest one-day drop on Monday Shares ofthe companyare trading at Rs 179.10, down Rs 5.25, or 2.85% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday at 1:31 p.m.The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 184 and low of Rs 178.05. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 418,814.In the earlier session, the shares fell 0.99%, or Rs 1.85, at Rs 184.35. Currently, the stock is trading down 15.94% from its 52-week high of Rs 213.05 and above 49.94% over the 52-week low of Rs 119.45.
