After attending an event in Bangalore University on Thursday, Reddy told reporters that the issue was discussed even in Thursday’s cabinet meeting.

“After much  discussion, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah decided to meet the ministers concerned and it is scheduled to be held on Friday,” he said.

Reddy also assured the Bangalore University of extending help in providing transportation to its Jnana Bharathi campus.

Bangalore University had recently decided to withdraw the transportation facility to Jnana Bharathi campus provided by the university. They cited financial burden as the reason for this.

Reddy said he was unaware of this and has asked the Vice-Chancellor and his team discuss the issue with him. He added that the Managing Director of the Transport Department would be asked to help find a solution for this.
