On contacting the traffic control room, we were directed to a slew of other departments.
After the initial confusion, we were finally connected to CR (South).
He told us that the said series does not belong to CR (South) and advised us to contact the RTO (Regional Transport Office).
But the attention that the jeep drew had spread and with the Canadian Prime Minister lending a helping hand in avoiding any embarrassment to the police, the jeep was moved to the Indiranagar police station.
