A woman lost her gold jewellery in a moving BMTC bus on Friday night.

Annapoorna, a resident of Kengeri Satellite Town, stated in her police complaint that she was returning home along with her husband after attending a wedding. They boarded a bus at 9.30 pm at Shantinagar. Two more women boarded the same bus at Corporation bus stop, and Annapoorna’s husband stood up to allow one of the women to sit on his seat. A woman sat next to Annapoorna. The woman disembarked at KR Market. After a while, Annapoorna realised that her bag had been torn open and the gold jewellery kept inside was missing. The gold jewellery weighed 80 gram.
