Letter Writing Contest by India Post

India Post will conduct the Universal Postal Union (UPU)-43rd letter writing competition on January 5, 2014.

The competition will be conducted at the headquarters of the Senior Superintendent of post offices in Tiruchy, Srirangam, Thanjavur, Kumbakonam, Pattukkottai, Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai, Karur, Pudukkottai, Cuddalore and Virudachalam between 10 and 11 am, said Postmaster General, Central Region, Tiruchy, in a press release.

The competition will be open to all school children below 15 years of age as on March 3, 2014.

They have to write a letter on the topic ‘Write a letter describing how music can touch lives’.

Applications can be had from the office of the Senior Superintendent of Post offices or Superintendent of post offices in the respective areas.

The filled in applications should be sent with due signatures from the respective headmasters in support of their age to ‘The Senior Superintendent of Post Offices’ concerned to reach on or before December 21, 2013, the release said.
