A man from an influential background, who stalked film actress Sanjjanaa over the phone, is now begging her to pardon him. For months, Sanjjanaa got calls in the middle of the night. “After putting up with him for a long time, I decided to use social media to teach him a lesson,” she told Express. Sanjjanaa tweeted his cell number and posted it on Facebook. Her fans started calling him and taking him to task.
The stalker had dialled her number accidentally, and once he got to know who she was, started calling her regularly at night. He then started using foul words in Kannada. Sanjjanaa tried to ignore him and changed her phone twice, but he would end up finding out her new numbers. If she did not pick up his calls, his friends would call her and harass her. “I decided to teach them a lesson and informed my fans about them,” she said.
The stalker is now contrite. “I feel like killing myself by getting so many calls every day. Please delete the tweets. I have lot of problems in life, trust me, madam, I will fall at your feet,” he pleaded with her in a text message. Sanjjanaa is insisting he provide the numbers of his friends who harassed her. She does not want to complain to the police, though.
