Gangsters Held for Murder Plot

Central Crime Branch (CCB) police arrested one Arasaiah and five of his associates, who were allegedly hatching a plot to murder their rival, a member of another gang, at Jayanagar 5th Block.

Central Crime Branch (CCB) police arrested one Arasaiah and five of his associates, who were allegedly hatching a plot to murder their rival, a member of another gang, at Jayanagar 5th Block. Arasaiah has a long history of criminal activities, police said.

The accused are Arasaiah alias Karadapudi Arasa(39) from Tumkur, Suresh alias Murder Suri (36) from Lakkasandra, Raviprakash (42) from Gottigere, Michael D’Souza (30) from Jayanagar 9th Block, Naveen Kumar (32) from Mandya and Ashok(28) from Hoskote.

The police said the accused were waiting to ambush Shivakumar alias Gunda, from a rival gang, who was coming there, and planned to murder him. Based on a tip-off, the police swung into action and arrested the gang.  A Scorpio SUV and weapons were recovered. 

3 Rowdies Arrested

The CCB police on Sunday arrested three associates of notorious rowdy Katta Ravi for allegedly preparing for a dacoity.
