The Relationship Between the Atma and the Paramatma Remains Constant

When we keep chanting Devi’s name constantly, we become perfect. The Divine Mother says - “Unless you become perfect, nothing that you do can be perfect.” That  is why, let us set aside all our transactional prayers and immerse ourselves in chanting Her name with complete love and devotion for sometime everyday. Remember  that you came into this world all alone and will go back alone. Only the relationship between you and God is permanent and lasts forever. All other relationships end with this lifetime. The gender of our physical  bodies may change from one lifetime to another, but the Soul has no gender and is  beyond all change. That is why the relationship between the Atma (Soul) and  Paramatma (Supreme Spirit Soul or God) remains constant and continues from one  lifetime to another.

The best way to nurture this eternal relationship is through the feeling of complete surrender to the Divine Mother who is the Supreme Spirit Soul. When we simply  turn to Her and say - “Mother, I am Your child. I know nothing. Take me on Your  lap and guide me. I am Yours. Lead me in the way You like,” then She takes charge  of our lives and decides what is best for us. When we sustain this feeling of surrender with our sadhana,

Devi removes our Ego and begins to sculpt us. We should never allow a feeling of unworthiness to hold us back by thinking - “I am full of impurities. How can I ask the Divine Mother who is ever-pure to put me on Her lap?” As children when we went running to our mother, did we see whether she was too  grandly dressed to pet us? Did we feel too dirty to be hugged and kissed by her?

Never! We just went and lay on her lap whenever we liked. When a human mother is  so loving, can the Divine Mother be any less compassionate?

With Devi there is no  protocol to be followed. All that is needed is our love and surrender.

To help us attain this state of surrender, Devi has given us many tools. The mantras that we are chanting on each day are also divine tools that should be used to transform us. A Mantra is like a chisel. It chips away the Ego and reveals the divine core in each one of us. The more we chant the mantra, the more it dissolves the Ego and empowers us.

Today one of the mantras we will chant is : “Om Chintamani Grishantasthayei Namaha”. - “I offer my salutations to the Divine Mother who is the Crowning Glory in the many storied mansion of my sadhana.” “Chintamani” is the crowning jewel, the realization of all our noble aspirations. Chinta is not a thought, emotion or desire. It is a pure Sankalpa or Resolution in our Chit or Consciousness.

As soon as such a resolve arises in us, it is actualized. This is how Gurus and Mahatmas operate all the time. We could not do this till now because we did not have the required purity.
