Two people, including a BPO centre employee, were killed in separate accidents involving two-wheelers in the city.
On Monday night, Utran Suresh (24) died after he rammed his bike into a crane parked on the roadside at HOPCOMS Junction in BTM Layout 1st Stage. Suresh, a native of Kerala and a resident of BTM Layout 2nd Stage, had recently joined a BPO centre. Police said the accident occurred around 10.30 pm when Suresh was going to Tavarekere with Beenu Basheer, a friend.
In the second incident on Tuesday, Manjunath (24) was killed on the spot when a speeding BMTC bus knocked down his two-wheeler and ran over him on Siddapur Main Road in Whitefield. Manjunath, a resident of Yamlur near Whitefield, was employed with a private company.
