The Indian Church of Christ held a Christmas Carnival on December 22 at Marianiketan School Grounds in Cooke Town.
As many as 1,500 people thronged to the venue. The carnival was also a treat for visiting children what with 100 stalls, most popular among them being the face painting, ring roll and car racing ones.
“We have enjoyed great response to the carnivals we have hosted earlier. This has made Indian Church of Christ’s Christmas Carnival a much-awaited event,” said one of the organisers. The Carnival featured skits, dramas, songs, a gospel singing competition, dance, carnival games and loads of delicious food.
