Two people were killed in separate road accidents in the city.
The deceased were identified as Ranjit (30), a resident of BTM Layout and Kantharaja (45) from Hassan.
Ranjith was hit by a lorry while riding a motorcycle while going towards Silk Board in Roopena Agrahara on Tuesday at midnight. He died on the spot. The police have taken the driver of the vehicle into custody.
Kantharaja was hit by a car while crossing the road near Bommanahalli on December 21. Kantharaju, who was working in a hotel in Majestic was fatally injured. He succumbed to injuries on Wednesday morning. Madiwala police are investigating the case.
