Kin Identify Ten More Victims

Ten more victims, who perished with 16 others in the fire on the Bangalore-Nanded Express train, were identified by their relatives based on their personal possessions on Sunday. As nine bodies were recognised by their relatives on Saturday and only seven  bodies have to be identified now.

The names of eight identified victims have been published. The eleven other victims have been identified as Ishwar Nagre, Aniruth N Kulkarni, Lalitha, Padmini, Jui George, Premalatha, Bheemaiah, Krishnamurthy, Champalal Rathi, Sreenivas B and Sri Latha. In a communique, the Railways said it has been unable to contact nine passengers and therefore, they are presumed to be missing or dead. They are Kavitha Nagre, N Kishore Kumar, R A Radha Krishna, Dr Asra, Balbir Kaur, Aman Preet Kaur, Ibrahim Rahi, Rahul and Pratap Vinay. Among the seven bodies yet to be identified, only two could have gone missing, the Railways said.
