ATM attack: police remain clueless

The investigation into the ghastly attack on a woman in ATM kiosk has hit a road block as the police could not find any clue regarding the accused who managed to disappear from Hindupur in Andhra Pradesh.

The investigation into the ghastly attack on a woman in ATM kiosk has hit a road block as the police could not find any clue regarding the accused who managed to disappear from Hindupur in Andhra Pradesh.

Senior officers in the investigation maintain that, after selling the victim Jyothi Uday’s mobile phone, the police could not find any clue about the  attacker. Though, the police have intensified inquiry about the culprit in Hindupur, they are still clueless. 

Meanwhile, the public have started calling from various parts of the city and state giving information about the people who resemble the attacker. The police who have managed to take the persons into the custody in Tumkur, Gubbi and Chittur in Andhra Pradesh, they have let these persons free as they turned out to be innocents. “This is disadvantage for the police teams. The attacker’s physical appearance matches with many people,” they maintain. Since there is no clue available the police are eagerly waiting for luck to strike. “Considering the present status of the case it might take about a month’s time to nab the attacker,” another source revealed.

When contacted Joint Commissioner B K Singh maintained that the police are working hard to catch the criminal. When asked how closer the police force is getting to attacker, he said the police will nab him fast.
