Students of Narthan Academy of Dance and Music or NADAM are off to Gripsholm, Sweden as a part of the Indian contingent for the World’s Children’s Prize (WCP).

The Prize is an educational programme that hopes to raise awareness of and establish children’s rights. Each year three Child Rights Heroes, aged 10 and 18, are selected by the WCP jury and are honoured by H M Queen Silvia with awards and prize money.

NADAM will be presenting Indian classical and folk dances accompanied by live music at the award ceremony. It will also be performing and conducting workshops in schools across Sweden. From October 12 to 19, dancers Soumya, Jinal, Chandana and Tanvi and musicians Vishrut and Aditya will be on tour accompanied by Ashish Mohan Khokar and Guru Nandini Mehta.
