Former chief minister S M Krishna inaugurated Kashmir Bhavan at NAL Layout in Jayanagar on Sunday. On the occasion, Krishna promised financial assistance to Kashmir Bhavan to the tune of `3 lakh.
Using the analogy of food to explain the importance of national integration, Krishna said, “I have loved and enjoyed Kashmiri food. Food must become a means of national integration. Today, sambar is one such point of coming together of people. It is available and appreciated in Delhi as well as down south,” he said. MP H N Ananthkumar and Chairman of Kashmiri Hindu Cultural Welfare Trust R K Mattoo were present.
