For every Bengali, Durga Puja is that time of year where one takes a break and goes back home to spend time with family and celebrate with the community. But those in the city who are unable to drop work and answer this calling need not despair; there are Bengali organisations across Bangalore here to recreate the spirit of the festival. One such is Bangalore Bangali Goldsmith Association. For the association, this year's Durga Puja is cause for double celebration as this is the 25 edition of its festivities.

In keeping with the custom of community celebration, lunch and dinner will be served to all visitors on the four main days of the festival.

So make sure you head to Thogataveera Kshatriya Sangha Kalyana Mantapa, 22/1, Raja Rammohan Roy Road, near Pallavi Talkies, Sampangiram Nagar, to bow before Ma Durga.
