Three miscreants robbed a software engineer of a gold chain and a wallet with Rs 30,000 in Commercial Street police station limits in the wee hours of Monday. According to the police, the incident took place when Prema Alvaris (35) was walking home.
The miscreants confronted him near Safina Plaza and made away with the his gold chain weighing 15 grams, and the wallet containing his identity card and bank cards. Alvaris has lodged a complaint with the police.
