Techie Dies After Falling off Building

BANGALORE: A 27-year-old man died after he accidentally fell from the terrace of a five-storeyed residential building at Balaji Layout in Mico Layout on Friday night.

The deceased, identified as Rana Dwarakish, was a native of Bihar and was working with an IT firm in Domlur for the last four years. He was staying in a rented flat with his friends.

Police said the incident occurred late in the night. Rana went to the terrace for a smoke and was sitting on the parapet wall. He lost balance and fell, sustaining severe head injuries. After a while, his flatmates Suresh and Vicky went to check on him and found him lying in a pool of blood. They immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he was declared brought dead.

Mico Layout police who have not ruled out foul play in the case, are investigating all angles.
