Salutations to Shri Guru, by whose existence the world exists, who shines through the form of the sun, and by whose love sons and others are dear to us.

Lord Shiva tells Mother Parvathi, “The sun and the moon are working today due to the Guru only”. The energy that makes the sun shine is the Guru. The earth rotates due to the power of the Guru or Guru Shakti. This is because the Guru lives on it. The universe is functioning due to the Guru. Love has blossomed on this earth only due to the Guru’s grace.

Intense dedication and devotion bring unconditional love and unconditional love makes us dedicated and devoted.

That is why the Guru is on this earth. However, the Guru has no expectations. There is a continuous regeneration of the Guru shakti. A Guru is being born every second.

The Guru is without form and names. For a moment let us understand the hierarchy of creation of this cosmos. The Divine Mother Adiparashakti is the primordial cosmic energy of creation. Then she manifests herself as Mahakali, Mahalakshmi and Maha Saraswathi. On the Divine Mother’s right thigh is the sun representing knowledge of the vedas called as the Jatavedas. The other side is Devi Durga herself.

She is the energy that destroys the negativity in our life. That is why her Bija Mantra or seed syllabled mantra is Om Dhum Durgayei Namaha. So, she is the compassionate mother who sent Lord Surya to remove darkness from the lives of us human beings.

That is why we offer oblation or arghya to Lord Surya with total gratitude especially on the day of Ratha Saptami.

Lord Surya has two consorts Yamuna and Chaya Devi. Chaya Devi gave birth to Shani Bhagwan- the embodiment of Dharma.

A disciple is the child of his guru. So, we are the children of our Guru. We must not have any doubt about it.

For the external world or baahya jagat, sun illumines, gives the heat and light whereas for our internal world or antara jagat, Guru is the Sun - Prakasha, Guru is the treasure- nidhi and beauty Saundharya or vaibhava.

When we lead our lives with this awareness everyday, we live in vaikunta or the abode of Vishnu which is nothing but the land of miracles. Eventually, we ourselves become the abode of miracles. This means we house the divine forces of the trinity within ourselves itself.
