Apart from academics, the school also encourages the students to take part in co-curricular activities. On the Annual Day, the school ensures that each student takes part in some cultural activity. They also take part in inter-school, cluster-level and regional sports competitions conducted by various organisations.

The teachers maintain a cordial relationship with the students as well as their parents. Every student’s performance is evaluated regularly and the parents are notified of the progress made in the parent-teacher meetings.

The school conducts medical camps for its students and other children in the locality to promote physical fitness and well-being. Emphasis is also laid on general hygiene and cleanliness.

Occasions like Teacher’s Day, Diwali, Ramzan, Christmas, Ganesh Chathurthi, etc are celebrated and their significance is explained in the assembly.

The school also conducts elections to elect the school captains. This practice promotes the feeling of democracy among the students.

The school wholeheartedly supports the RTE, and for the academic year 2014-15, students have been admitted under the provision.
