BANGALORE: Four unidentified youths gained entry into a house claiming to be policemen in HSR Layout on Friday and fled with gold jewellery and cash. They went to the house of Ramesh, a mechanic, and said they had received information that he was selling liquor illegally and that they wanted to search the house.
When Ramesh let them in, they tied up Ramesh and his family and decamped with `30,000, two mobile phones and jewellery.
