BANGALORE: All zonal offices of the BBMP have been asked to clear pending files, said standing committee (administration and personnel) president M Krishna on Monday.
In a meeting held on BBMP premises, it was found that more than 5,000 files are pending at the offices, apart from several khata registrations. A file clearance drive has been initiated and will be on till Friday.
Krishna has also directed the Tax Department to conduct a khata registration drive and distribute land certificates to applicants.
