Trader Dies in Accident

BANGALORE: A 55-year-old businessman died on Thursday after a speeding tipper hit his two-wheeler on Hosa Road, under Electronics City traffic police station limits.

The deceased has been identified as Sundar, a resident of K P Agrahara.

He was on his way to Hosur Road around 9.30 pm when a speeding tipper hit his motorbike from behind on the service road.

Sundar sustained severe head injuries and died on the spot.  Passers-by alerted the police, who seized the lorry. The driver however managed to escape.
