BANGALORE: The Entrepreneurship Cell of Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and IBM, along with International Business Model Competition (IBMC), will organise an international business plan competition, named 'Empresario 2015'. Registrations have been invited from interested candidates.
Empresario is the Cell's annual business plan competition, where participants get awards and incubation funds to the tune of `2.5 crore. The best entries in all categories will also get direct entry to the semi-final of IBMC 2015, which will be held abroad.
For the first round of Empresario, participants will have to fill and submit a questionnaire, which is available at www.ecell-iitkgp.org/empresario. The last date for submissions is October 20, 2014.
Participants will be mentored by organisations like The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) and the National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN), among others. Start-up services like legal advice, taxation, financial, technical aspects of running a start-up, co-working space, HR needs, incubation opportunities and others will be provided.
