'Missing' Man Returning Home

BANGALORE: The family of a 33-year-old businessman, a grand son of Congress leader M V Rajashekaran, has filed a case of his kidnap in Banashankari police station on Sunday after he did not return home.

The police were in search of him and on Monday evening, he contacted his family members and said that he is returning home. 

The police said that the family stated that Roopesh, who runs fertilizer business on Avenue Road had gone for shaving at a nearby hair saloon on Sunday and did not return. His phone was also switched off and they suspected he might have been kidnapped.

A special police team went in search of him on Sunday evening and found his car on Bannerghatta road near Arkere. His phone and purse were also found inside the car.Around evening, Roopesh called to his family and told he had gone out of the city for a business purpose after parking his car on Bannerghatta and forgot to inform his family.

He had gone to give some documents related to the business and he would reach home soon, the police  said.
