BANGALORE: Archbishop of Bangalore, Bernard Moras, on Saturday  condemned the attack on Christians in Syria and Iraq by ISIS militants.

He urged the Union government to condemn the attacks on Christians in general and humanity in particular. “We cannot be silent when humanity is being harmed. We need to raise our voice in unison,” Moras said.

He said a Bishop’s conference will be held on Sunday and over 22,000 members will attend. Christians from Kolar, Chikkaballapur, Ramanagaram, Bangalore Rural and Bangalore City will congregate at St Joseph’s Indian High School. A memorandum will be given to the Governor to be handed over to the Union government seeking to address the issue internationally.
