QUEEN’S ROAD: International Tech Park Bangalore (ITPB) celebrated its annual ‘Healthy Lifestyle & Sports Meet’ recently. Over 2,000 participants representing 40 IT companies took part in the inter-corporate sporting challenge, which had 17 categories of indoor, outdoor and health and fitness activities.
The healthy lifestyle and sports meet is an annual sporting extravaganza hosted at ITPB to promote healthy living and an active lifestyle among the 35,000 techies working in the many IT companies at ITPB.
The event, spread over 10 days, concluded with the announcement of the ‘Overall Champions’ that was won by Affiliated Computer Services of India Private Limited, a Xerox Company for winning in highest number of categories.
ACS – Xerox won the overall champion trophy of ‘Healthy Lifestyle & Sports Meet’ 2014 also.
This year the event had 17 categories like cricket, football, volleyball, throw ball and various track and field and fitness games. The games in indoor category included chess, carrom and bowling.
