TIRUCHY: To prepare engineering students to face global challenges in the manufacturing sector, NIT-Tiruchy will organise an international conference on the advances in production and industrial engineering on February 20 and 21.
Kumanan Somasundaram, professor and organising chair of the conference, said, the Department of Production Engineering will organise the conference under the aegis of Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme of the Union Government in which 150 research papers from universities across the nation would be presented.
