'Temple Won't be Flooded Again'

BENGALURU:Mayor Shanthakumari on Thursday said BBMP has ensured that the Gali Anjaneya temple on Mysuru Road would not be flooded this monsoon.

After inspecting the repair work on the storm water drain near the temple, she told reporters that remodelling the drain would permanently solve the problem. “The drain did not have adequate vents to carry the gushing water during monsoon, often resulting in flooding. We will complete the work in the next six months and there will be no flooding this time,” she said.
