Trio Hacks Man to Death

BENGALURU:A 27-year-old man was hacked to death by three men in OMBR Layout near Ramamurthy Nagar on Thursday morning.

The deceased is Amul Krishna, a resident of Maruthi Seva Nagar who was working in a private finance company. Police said the incident took place around 10.30 am when Krishna was waiting for his friends near CMR College. Three men came in a car and picked a quarrel with him. They attacked him with lethal weapons and fled.

Driver Ends Life

A 27-year-old driver of a school bus allegedly hanged himself at his house in Parappana Agrahara on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Raghu, a native of Hassan, who was living with his o0lder brother in a rented house. He was working in a private school for the last two years.

Police said he hanged himself in the evening after returning home from work. His older brother, who works the night shift, returned home early in the morning and found Raghu’s body.

Youth Run Over

A 22-year-old BBM student died on Thursday after being knocked down by a speeding truck near Tin Factory in KR Puram traffic police limits.

The deceased, Mudiyappa, was a native of Kolar and was studying in a private college in Devasandra. Police said the accident took place early in the morning when Mudiyappa was walking towards the bus stop.

He was run over while crossing the road. He sustained severe injuries to the head and was taken to a private hospital, where he was declared brought dead. The truck driver is missing.

Cops on Hoax Caller’s TRAIL

Cubbon Park police on Thursday identified the man who made a hoax call to the police control room saying a bomb had been placed in the CM’s residence. A police officer said the youth is aged around 25, and would be arrested soon, but refused to divulge details.
