BENGALURU: Puppet-making for the young ones

Dollmations is a session on making puppets. Children will make finger puppets, sock puppets and hand puppets. The session will give children a chance to peek into world of crafting puppets. This will help children use puppets as a medium for expressing their creativity. This will also enable children to use puppets as a tool while communicating to an audience. The session is for 6-10 year old children. The workshop is conducted by Cilre. She aims to provide a non judgmental experimenting platform for a wide range of fields which helps children to discover and nurture their interests.

The workshop will be held on 3 April (Friday) from 5 - 7 pm at Atta Galatta, Koramangala. The cost for the workshop will be Rs 300.

Tennis and Fitness Camp

Sol Sports conducts its annual summer camp for kids and adults, starting in April. They will conduct tennis and fitness workshops across 3 branches in Bengaluru: Sarjapur Road, Electronic City and BTM Layout. Conducted by certified professionals, the campw ill run through April and May.

Art and theatre

Aashwasan launches creative activities for children to learn art and theatre and through it explore experience and express themselves. After the art workshop, the art work of children will be displayed for parents and a theatre show will also be put up. Art workshop: In the art workshop, children are taken through a facilitative experience where they use art to give their feelings and thoughts a tangible form.

Summer song

Children of  theatre

Bacha Party aims at creating, developing and producing artistically excellent and culturally diverse theatre for young talents. Their ‘Summer blast’ theme for this year is ‘Our world, Our trees’. A fun venture to create an awareness and sensitivity in children towards their environment using music, dance, craft and theatre, as tools.

An adventure leadership programme

Sankalp Academy has designed a three day leadership program. The workshop is put together with an aim to bring out the participant and help them grow as leaders through various adventure sports such as rappelling, bouldering, camping, trekking, zip line and much more.
