Show to Promote Sugar Substitute

It is a natural sweetener and it lets you keep in shape. Stevia, a herb that was used by the South Americans at least 1,500 years ago, is making a resurgence. Based around this sweet theme, an unique fashion show is to be held in the city. Organised by Stevia World Agrotech Pvt Ltd, this show will also feature a talk by President and CEO of Kidzcare Pediatrics, USA, Dr Ashok Jain. Lakes captured

A two-day photo exhibition titled ‘Living at the margins of Bengaluru’s lakes: Untold stories of change, loss and hope’ hosted by Azim Premji University at the Chaya Gallery, Rangoli Metro Art Centre on October 31 and November 1, showcased how the lakes of the city are being marginalised.

The show that saw close to 850 visitors, was held in collaboration between Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, and VU University, Amsterdam.The exhibition with 24 photographs featured Bhattarahalli, Vibhutipura, Puttenahalli (JP Nagar) and Madivala lakes. The photographs were taken by Arati Kumar-Rao, Marthe Derkzen and Anoop Bhaskar.
