BENGALURU: Metro services between Mantri Square Sampige Road and Nagasandra Metro stations will be available from 5 am to 11 pm following requests from various industrial bodies.
The new operations will be launched on December 1 on a pilot basis for a period of two months.
In a press release, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd, managing director Pradeep Singh Kharola said the frequency along the line will be 15 minutes between 5 am and 8 am, and 8 pm and 11 pm, and 10 minutes, between 8 am and 8 pm.
Trains will operate between 8 am and 7 pm from November 24 to 28 owing to derailment co-efficinet test taken up along the Metro line between Magadi Road and Mysore Road.
Tenders Invited
BMRCL has invited tenders for rejuvenation works of Kengeri Lake. According to a notification by BMRCL, Mailasandra Station (part of Phase-2, West Extension of the project) is expected to come up in front of the lake. Tender documents are available at BMRCL, Shantinagar, till December 17.
