BENGALURU: As many as 3.20 lakh cases were settled during the National Lok Adalat held by Karnataka State Legal Services Authority (KSLSA) on Saturday. Those settled in the adalat included compoundable criminal cases.
According to KSLSA, a total of 3,20,296 cases were settled which included 54,600 pending cases and 2,65,696 pre-litigation cases. The total settlement amount is `1.43 crore. The settlement of a large number of cases has helped reduce pendency and has benefited litigants.
The next monthly Lok Adalat will be held on October 10.
