HSR Vehicular Ban: Bengaluru Advocate Complains to Karnataka Governor

BENGALURU:  An advocate who was not allowed to return to his house in HSR Layout by car during Sunday’s vehicular ban has complained to the Governor.

K K Paulose has stated that no one has the right to block roads and confine residents from going out of their houses as it is a direct violation of Article 19 of the Constitution. “I found hundreds of people, youngsters and the elderly, who were forced to leave their vehicles outside. Those who went out in the mornings were not allowed to return in vehicles,” he stated. Paulose added a situation like the one on Sunday must not arise in the future. “The BBMP can convert a part of parks for such gatherings. The government must not block roads and confine their subjects from going out,” he added.
