Man Wielding Machete Attacks Two

BENGALURU: Tension prevailed in Nagarabhavi when a 32-year-old man attacked two men with a machete on Monday. The injured have been identified as Shashibhushan, 41, a resident of Srinagar and Prakash, 38, of Chandra Layout

Police said the incident took place around 2.30 pm. Shashibhushan was on his way towards Kathriguppe on the Ring Road when the accused, said to be a drug addict, waylaid and attacked him.

Then he approached Prakash, who was crossing the road, and attacked him.

The locals, who noticed the incident rushed the victims to a private hospital and alerted the police.

Police obtained CCTV footage to identify of the accused and are taking the help of the locals. A special team has also been formed to nab the accused.
