BENGALURU: A leopard was spotted inside the Vibgyor School at Kundalahalli near Whitefield in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A CCTV grab of the leopard captured inside the school at 4.13 am shows the feline moving around the school.

Officials of the Forest Department and the police have launched an operation to trap the leopard.

At least four people were injured during the operation to capture the leopard and one among them was conservationist Sanjay Gubbi, who was bit on his leg and arms by the feline.

Personnel however succeeded in capturing the animal during the evening.

A leopard sighting was reported in the Whitefield area four years ago in 2012.
