BENGALURU: How often do you crave for that authentic North-Indian food? Well, there are plenty of restaurants in Bengaluru serving North Indian food but sometimes you just don’t get what’s authentic.
This very reason led Vijay and Archna to zero in on the concept of affordable North Indian food with an accent on Delhi’s amazing foods. Delhi Belli was launched few weeks back in BTM layout.
It is different in a way that they bring to table the authentic taste of Delhi to Bengaluru. Be it Sita Ram’s Chole Bhature or Gulati’s Butter Chicken or the parathas, it will take you to the lanes of Delhi where everything you eat, makes you drool for more.
Interestingly, in a time when most restaurants are doing extensive menus, Delhi Belli has chosen to be very selective and expand their menu based on people’s demand.
If you are a vegetarian and visiting Delhi Belli, do not miss out on their Paneer Gilafi and Chole Bhatura. The paneer they serve is so soft, I bet you will not find it even in the best of the restaurants in the city.
Chole Bhatura too is undoubtedly one of the best I have had in a long time.
It does not matter if you like parathas or not, you just cannot walk out of Delhi Belli without having the Paneer Cheese Paratha with a dollop of butter on top.
For non-vegetarians, their special Kashmiri Kebab is a must try. With egg wrapped over succulent pieces of chicken, these are charcoal grilled to get that authentic flavour.
Chicken biryani, butter chicken and bhuna chicken are few other items which should try.
Apart from these, they have veg and non-veg combos for those who want little of everything. They also have different varieties of lassi with rose, mango, vanilla and strawberry flavours.
