HYDERABAD: Three days after the sudden disappearance of a 32-year-old software engineer in Bengaluru while boarding a Hyderabad-bound bus, a team of police from Bengaluru visited Hyderabad today and questioned the software engineer's friends.
The software engineer, Aditya Shrivastava, was boarding a bus to reach Hyderabad on Oct 10. Later, he went missing under suspicious circumstances.
As Aditya did not turn up in Hyderabad, his family members tried to call his mobile phone but it was switched off.
Immediately, his friends in Bengaluru approached the police and lodged a complaint. Another complaint was filed with the Hyderabad police also suspecting that Aditya might have gone missing after reaching Hyderabad.
Police registered a missing case and began investigation. They verified Aditya's cellphone call data. His last phone call was made at 9.58 pm from Bellandur in Bengaluru and he sent a text message to
his fiancee.
The Bengaluru and Hyderabad police together are investigating the case, now.
