With the trailers and songs having lived up to the hype created by the makers of John Jani Janardhan, the movie is now set to release on November 11.
The team, to start with has planned a unique promotional tour across North Karnataka keeping the film's theme in mind.
“Since this is a film about three good friends and a universal subject, we want to create a buzz among college students about the movie and will travel to places, where we connect with the youth," says
L Padmanabh, one of the producers of John Jani Janardhan. He has partnered with K Girish and
C N Sashikiran, who are also the producers of this film.
Interestingly, John Jani Janaradhan also brings in around 30 senior artistes, which Padmanabh says will be one of the highlights of the movie.
“We had the opportunity to work with Kashi, for whom this is the last film. We have actors Srinivas Murthy, Girija Lokesh, Lakshmi Devamma, Bank Janardhan in the movie. We personally picked up these seniors artistes, whom we felt are neglected in the industry. Though we have young actors entering day in and out, there is still art left in these seniors and we wanted to see all of them in one frame,” the producer says.
This, being a debut venture made under MR Pictures (Muthappa Rai) it is a multi-starrer with Ajai Rao, Yogesh and Krishna playing the lead roles.
Padmanabh, who considers Muthappa Rai as Anna (brother) was keen on starting a production house in his name, which he preferred to name it as MR Pictures.
“A film banner in his name is just a mark of respect to my brother, and there is nothing more I expect from him,” says the producer. “We plan to bring in one good film every year under this banner and I want establish this banner in the industry,” he says.
Directed by Guru Deshpande, the film has an interesting set of technicians.
“The music is scored by Arjun Janya with Santhosh Rai Pathaje as the cameraman. Ravi Verma has placed some good stunts, we have Murali Master’s choreography,” says Padmanabh.
