The app dilemma

BENGALURU: Fasdeal started out as a mobile app only player at a time (2015) when every business had to be an app. We rode the wave and built an app but soon realized that the empty real estate on phones had been reduced with the increased popularity of selfies. Adding to that, the marketing cost involved in getting a user to download an app vis-a-vis visiting your website is high, more so when you are running a startup.

Having a website in conjunction with an app platform can help maximise results and improve visibility. Having a cool website helped us improve branding and more often than not when a user liked our website, he/she would try out our app. Try this strategy and good luck to budding entrepreneurs in building the next big thing!
