BENGALURU: Tunnel Boring machine which has been tunnelling from Chickpet since December 12, 2015 broke through at the Kempe Gowda Interchange Metro station at 2.04 pm on Friday.
With this breakthrough, all the underground tunnelling work of Metro Phase-I comes to a close.
The machine began tunnelling 3 years and 9 months ago.
