BENGALURU: The city police have made traffic arrangements around Manekshaw Parade Ground on the occasion of Independence Day. Vehicles carrying people who are to participate in the cultural events are allowed to enter throughv gate no. 1 and park on the northern side at Anil Kumble Circle. People attending the programme can park their vehicles near Safina Plaza, BMTC Shopping Complex 1st floor at Shivajinagar and at Kanteerava Stadium and walk to the ground through gates 4 and 5 on Kamaraja Road.
Things banned at the venue
Mobile phones, cigarretes, match box, food, water bottles, bags, helmets, cameras, radio, umbrella and any sharp objects will not be allowed at the venue.
Traffic diversions from 8.30am to 10.30am
Vehicles coming from Medinova towards Manipal Centre are allowed to pass on Infantry Road - Safina plaza - Main Guard Road - Alies Circle - Dispensary Road - Kamaraja Road and Dickenson
Road - Kamaraja Road junction and Cubbon Road to reach Manipal Centre.
Vehicles coming from Manipal Centre towards BRV Junction on Cubbon Road should take a left at Kamaraja Road junction towards Cauvery Art & Crafts Circle junction, turn right at Anil Kumble Circle and proceed ahead.
Vehicles coming from Anil Kumble Circle towards Cubbon Road will go straight on Central Street Jn. - Right Turn - Infantry Road - Safina Plaza - Left Turn - Main Guard Road - Allies Circle - Dispensary Road - Kamaraja Road and Dickenson road jn. - Right Turn - Kamaraja Road junction - turn left - and Cubbon Road onwards to Manipal Center junction.
Vehicles coming from Coffee Board moving towards BRV should proceed towards Safina Plaza on Infantry Road take Left Turn at Main Guard Road - Allies Circle - Rt. Turn - Dispensary Road - Kamaraja Road and Dickenson road jn. - Right Turn - Kamaraja Road jn. - Left Turn - and Cubbon Road onwards to Manipal Center junction
Vehicles coming from Cauvery Arts & Craft Circle on MG Road going towards Cubbon Road & KR Road junction shall go straight on MG Road towards Anil Kumble junction and further ahead.
Vehicles coming from Coffee Board moving towards BRV should proceed towards Safina Plaza on Infantry Road take Left Turn at Main Guard Road - Allies Circle - Right.
Turn - Dispensary Road - Kamaraja Road and Dickenson Road junction - Right
Turn - Kamaraja Road junction.
