BENGALURU: In a case of suspected gang rivalry, two persons fired at Agricultural produce market committee (APMC) Dasanahalli president Srinivas near Kogilu Cross here on Friday afternoon.
 
According to the police, the incident took place at around 12 noon while Srinivas was travelling in his car. Two persons travelling on a bike fired four rounds at Srinivas before fleeing the scene.
 
Murthy, Srinivas's car driver was also hurt in the incident. Passersby rushed Srinivas and Murthy to Columbia Asia Hospital. The condition of Srinivas is said to be critical. 
 
According to the police, Srinivas was also a rowdy-sheeter and gang war is suspected to be the reason behind the attack. Srinivas is the brother of rowdy-sheeter Rama alias Poison Rama, who is currently serving a sentence in prison. 
 
DCP North East P S Harsha and other officials reached the spot. Four teams were formed and were assigned the task to nab the accused, said Harsha.
